JAZZ THEATRE
Jazz Theatre is a lively, expressive dance class with equal focus on technique and performance. Students explore a wide range of styles under the “jazz umbrella,” including lyrical, musical theatre, and contemporary.
Class Levels:
Jazz Theatre 1 – Ages 4–9 / Beginners
Jazz Theatre 2 – Ages 10–13 / Intermediate
Jazz Theatre 3 – Ages 14+ / Advanced
Classes focus on developing dynamic, versatile dancers through a combination of:
Warm-up and fitness
Strength and stretch
Technique (pirouettes, leaps, kicks)
Choreography set to pop and musical theatre tracks
🎥 Performance & Creativity
Students have the chance to perform in shows, music videos, and take part in informal events celebrating their achievements. Journaling and personal goals are encouraged to boost confidence and growth.
🎭 Performance Team
Our Advanced Jazz 3 students who are interested in performance opportunities may join the Performance Team, representing the school in local and national competitions with group choreography.
